70th Annual Golden Globe Awards: the winners (Photos)

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 13, 2013 in Beverly Hills, California.

The following is a list of several winners this evening and what they wore at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Congratulations to the winners as well as all those nominated!

No one looked more thrilled to have won his Golden Globe than Director Mark Andrews, who leaped clear off the ground in a ballet pose, clutching his Best Animated Film award for “Brave.”

Anne Hathaway, looking lovely in her strapless two-piece ivory ensemble, was winner of Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for film “Les Miserables.”

Lena Dunham, who won the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical for her role in “Girls,” looked amazing in her deep plum off-shoulder gown.

Jodie Foster looked stunning in her midnight blue beaded gown as she gave her speech for her Cecil B. Demille Award for a lifetime of achievement – 47 years in the film-making industry and now 50 years of age.

Wearing her pale mint green halter-neck gown, Jessica Chastain won Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) for “Zero Dark Thirty.”

Julianne Moore, attired in her black and white long-sleeved gown, was winner of Best Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for “Game Change.”

Actor-director Ben Affleck, looking dapper in his three-piece tuxedo suit won the Best Director of a Motion Picture award for “Argo.”

Hugh Jackman, who was there with his lovely wife Deborra-Lee Furness in her asymmetrical black gown, won the Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for “Les Miserables,” looking dapper in his black tuxedo and bowtie.

Don Cheadle looked sharp to pick up his Best Actor in a Television Series (Musical or Comedy) for “House of Lies,” as did Daniel Day-Lewis, winner of Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) for “Lincoln.” Christoph Waltz too won the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for “Django Unchained.”

Singer Adele was the winner of Best Original Song for a Motion Picture for “Skyfall” from film “Skyfall,” which she accepted in her lace-trimmed black gown.

Damian Lewis received the Best Actor award for TV Series, Drama, for “Homeland” in his sharp tux, while actors Francesca Eastwood, Salma Hayek and Paul Rudd stood to the side onstage…

Kevin Costner, attending with wife Christine Baumgartner, won the Best Actor in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television award for “Hatfields & McCoys.”

Claire Danes certainly looked a winner in her red halter-neck gown as she picked up her Best Actress in a Television Series Drama for “Homeland.”

Jennifer Lawrence too wore red in the way of a strapless red gown with voluminous flared skirt, cinched at the waist with a black belt, took the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) for “The Silver Linings Playbook.”
