70000 Tons of Metal 2: Best of concerts slideshow Part I

MIAMI & CAYMAN ISLANDS -- A whole new crop of 42 bands played two shows apiece and sailed aboard this year's version of the second annual 70000 Tons of Metal cruise Jan. 23-27.

Unlike last year, an approximate six-hour delay in the construction of the main stage on the pool deck pushed things back on the first day, causing more concerts to overlap with those already going on in the approximately 1,200 capacity Chorus Line Theatre and the intimate Spectrum Lounge. Translation: It was impossible to be at every show at once.
