7 siblings missing: Police say 7 siblings found unharmed with their father (Video)

There is a happy ending for seven missing California siblings. An FBI task force found the children unharmed with their father, according to a Mar. 1 Associated Press report.

According to the Boston Globe, after being missing for five days, news reports circulated on Thursday, seeking any help with locating Chee Nou Yang, 12; Cha Meng Yang, 11; Zia Yang, 10; Chue Feng Yang, 8; Zang Yang, 7; Tria Yang, 6; and Tou Ger Yang, 5. They were believed to have been abducted by their father from their Fresno home while their mother and stepfather were away at the grocery store. Police were unable to contact their biological father, Xa Yang, at the time.

A day later, the Associated Press reports that the children were found with their biological father.

The Fresno Bee reports that Yang had been estranged from his family for three years. Fresno police Sgt. Jaime Rios told the Fresno Bee that the children were unharmed and in good spirits.

While the father was not detained, Sgt. Rios said that an investigation is ongoing to determine if a crime was committed.
