You see them all the time--lists of the "500 Best Hotels," the "100 Most Romantic Honeymoon Destinations," and of course, "1000 Places to See Before You Die." We're obsessed with lists, and maybe that's okay. It helps us keep our thoughts organized and feeds into the need for competitive activities.
