$7 Indian Taco Sale 11:30 am to 2 pm March 13 at Kateri Church in Suttons Bay

To assist the family of Ma'iingan King Sams with hospital expenses, a $7 Indian Taco Sale is being held today March 13 from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.at Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, located at 2753 N West Bay Shore Dr in Suttons Bay, MI.

The event had been postponed last night, but thanks to the efforts of family and friends, the fundraiser is back on as scheduled.

Ma'iingan King Sams was born 3 months premature on February 25th, weighing 1 pound, 15 ounces and measuring 14.25 inches tall. A day later, the brave boy underwent emergency surgery and faces surgery again today.

The fundraiser is to assist parents TaShena Raphael Sams and Thor Sams and family with expenses related to the baby's 10-week hospital stay in Grand Rapids (a three hour drive from home).
