The City of Beavercreek Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is proud to announce their annual fishing derby for kids on May 17 at 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Every year, determined boys and girls make their finest attempts to catch the biggest fish during this exciting event. Some succeed, while others win prizes for the smallest fish- but every year one thing is guaranteed- happy, smiling faces are spread across the Lofino Park pond.

Grab those fishing poles, bait and tackle for a morning of fun, prizes and entertainment. The fishing derby will be held at Beavercreek’s Lofino Park located at 640 Grange Hall Road.

Beavercreek Parks, Recreation and Culture Department and McAfee Heating & Air are sponsoring the 6th Annual Fishing Derby. A juggler will provide entertainment at 11:00 a.m. Prizes for the largest, smallest and most fish caught will be awarded at 11:30 a.m. – so make sure to stick around.

This event is free and no registration is required.
