Hair check, makeup check, skin check, accessories check. Pretty much everything a star needed to get Emmy’s ready, prior to last night's big show at the Bellafortuna’s Annual Gifting Suite. Luxury it was and the venue was an exquisite choice to hold the event, at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel.
Really, it was more like a party, replete with DJ’s spinning all afternoon into the evening. Celebrities and guests alike were able to get primed and primped, learn about new products while mingling with other invitees, while enjoying specialty cocktails from Chambord and Cuestion Tequila.
For those who prefer the non-alcoholic sort of beverage, Kreation Juice was on hand serving up their organic cold-pressed juices. Staffers were on hand to create a customized cleanse. Perfect for getting in form for the big evening.
It was pretty tough to resist the curated menu items created by Executive Chef Gabriel Ask from the Montage’s kitchen. Followed by a choice of desserts from Sprinkles cupcakes or the healthier option, Subzero ice cream.
While overlooking the view of L.A.’s iconic Canon Drive from the outdoor terrace of the hotel, ladies were able to get a full face made over by the talented Jess Smith from Blushington. Thankfully, Vida Emmanuel European Day Spa was on the spot to do eyebrow threading prior.
On hand for hair consultations were the stylists from Kim Vo Salon who provides clients with fashionable cuts & styles, coloring and interactive beauty experiences. Agadir gifted a generous bag of spray treatment, shampoo, conditioner, comb and their award-winning Argan Oil treatment.
Onto styling. Fresh from the Toronto International Film Festival, Italian luxury brand Feri made a big splash with their designer sunglasses, handbags as well as prestige gold jewelry. Their new Posh line creates more day-to-day jewelry for everyone, everywhere and every occasion. Stocked for winter, owner and designer Pam Ficsher flew in from Park City, Utah to share her FurFrenzy hoodies, scarves and handbags. On trend, they are all made of faux fur with an inner lining of velvet, satin or velour, complete with pockets to keep your valuables and mitts to keep your hands toasty.
For the home there were several candle choices. Fine-scented candles Aquiesse, had their fabulous Black Orchid candle to give. As well as other choices both suitable for gifting to men and women alike. Kourtney Krasovetz puts a lot of passion into creating her San Diego Gel Candles made entirely from elements of the sea – starfish, sand dollars, and shells. You can just imagine her spending her days on the southern California beaches creating these forever-usable candles.
The most unique candles gifted were from Pretty Clean Soap, who teamed up with Good Planet, a company that represents sustainable and otherwise ‘good’ brands (healthy, fair trade, cruelty free, educational and charitable) in order to integrate them into globally-distributed commercial films and television shows as well as online, mobile and gaming media platforms. “Pretty Hot” creates candles exclusively soy-beeswax blends formulated to emit negative ions which naturally clean and purify the air. For post-Emmy’s ladies and gents can backs or feet on Bed of Nails’ acupressure pillow, a self-treatment designed to help the body rid itself of toxins by stimulating energy.
