$65,000 chicken wing heist: No Super Bowl 2013 party for food thieves

At least one Super Bowl 2013 party has been ruined, and this time the cable company is not to blame! Two thieves pulled off a $65,000 chicken wing heist earlier this month. The chicken thieving pair made off with their "loot" from the frozen food distribution center they worked at outside of Atlanta.

An article at ABC News says "Dewayne Patterson and Renaldo Jackson, who both worked at the Nordic Distribution Center, allegedly backed a rental truck up to the back of the loading area at the center and loaded 10 pallets of Tyson frozen chicken wings onto the truck," then made off with their tasty bounty.

The pair thought they'd get away with their $65,000 chicken wing heist, but sadly for them, management spotted the theft and contacted the Gwinnet County police department. The chicken crooks were both arrested by investigators a week later.

Both suspects face felony charges, and will apparently be watching the Super Bowl, sans wings, from behind bars.

So far the whereabouts of the wings are unknown.
