6 teens killed in crash: Deadly Ohio car crash ends with SUV in swamp

6 teens killed in crash is one top news story trending on internet searches this evening, as Boston News reported this Sunday, March 10, that an SUV with eight teens smashed into a guardrail this morning in Ohio, flipping over into a swampy pond and killing one female and five males, along with two other injured males.

The story headline reading. “6 teens killed in crash, 2 hurt in northeast Ohio SUV accident”, sources report that a Honda Passport veered off the road early this Sunday morning. The SUV crashed into the guardrail and flipped over into a swamp, sinking with five of the teens still trapped inside the vehicle.

A sixth victim was found underneath the car — the teen is believed to have been thrown from the car after the crash and was tragically found underneath the SUV after the Honda was taken out of the water.

The two teens that survived the accident managed to escape the sinking SUV in the swamp and hurried to a local home, calling 911 immediately, said highway officers.

“All I know is my baby is gone,’’ said Derrick Ray, who came to the crash site after viewing his 15-year-old son Daylan’s body at the county morgue. He added he knew that his son, a talented football player who was looking forward to playing the sport in high school, was out with friends, but didn’t know what they were doing.

What the teens were out doing so early in the morning driving is still under investigation in this tragic story, concluded police.
