The Gangs of New York features Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Punt e Mes Vermouth and Cynar Bitter Liquer. For a classy green cocktail this holiday, or for the entire month, visit Pacifica Del Mar, where the Cucumber Basil Cocktail will be available on St. Paddy’s Day for $9. The recently renovated and re-named hotel, Harrah’s So Cal, will honor St. Paddy with a bevy of festivities all weekend long.
On Friday, March 14 the debut of Neon Nights at Dive will start at 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy live entertainment and beverage specials poolside in the "green" Lazy River. On Saturday, March 15, between 4 - 11 p.m., Irish dancers will spontaneously flash mob the casino floor, and on Sunday, March 16, The Fighting Jamesons will be playing in the Events Center. This band delivers a traditional style of Celtic music with an aggressive and energetic modern approach. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $19 each and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com. Before and after the show, guests can party at Corked. In addition to their craft beer and wine list, the lounge will be serving up green beer with live music. Finally, on St. Patrick's Day, Monday, March 17, guests can try their luck on the casino floor with Harrah's St. Patrick's Day Hot Seat Promotion. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the largest outdoor party on the West Coast, on Saturday, March 15, in downtown. The streets will turn green with over 80,000 square feet of Astroturf, and 20,000 attendees will party from 4pm-Midnight between Fifth Avenue and F Street. Expect a 150-foot Irish Pub, and entertainment including live bands performing Irish Rock, Irish Punk Rock, and much more. Tickets are $40 for General Admission and $75 for VIP until March 14th and $45 for General Admission and $85 for VIP on the day of the event.
