According to the website of the “Internet Movie Database” (IMDB). The “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” movie synopsis is right here - “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.”
The running time of the short film trailer is 1:32. It shows us the humans who have survived a deadly virus & war on earth. A male stands up & goes to the forest to seek out Caesar who is the leader of the apes. We see Caesar painted with a distinct red mark between his eyes. Is it war paint? Is he going to lead the charge with his army of apes? The answer is “yes” as he signals his primates to attack. That is the end of the trailer.
