Tousled locks. Get the look with sea salt spray and a large barrel curling iron. We love this look because it looks great with hair worn loose or on day-old hair up in a messy bun or ponytail.

One-color hair color. Some stylists call it power color because it's one hue that runs from root to tip creating a strong look that's a big departure from the ombre techniques we've seen for the past few years.

Polished ponytails. We saw lots of these on the runway for 2014. Use gel and a fine tooth comb to calm baby hairs at the hairline. Run a smoothing cream through the 'pony' part of the hairdo for a finished look.

Asymmetrical 'dos. This has been around the block before, but this year we're looking at a less severe version of what Posh Spice used to rock in the '90s. Think of a lob (long bob) full of movement with a slight asymmetrical cut that extends at the front.

More braids. Game of Thrones returns this spring and so do braids. This time we're talking one ponytail with multiple braids added for texture or a thin braid within a fishtail braid. We're predicting Youtube videos like these will be our BFF.

Sleek buns. Like the polished ponytail, gel and a fine tooth comb are your best tools to master the sleek bun. We love it with a deep side part for a look that works day or night. This 'do also makes us want to add to our collection of statement earrings!
