With so many fitness apps on the market to choose from, one may wonder which apps will yield the best and real results. Of course the best fitness app in the world can’t help you unless you get motivated and do the work that is needed to reach your fitness goal. Like with anything in life, you have to find the right app for you, whether it be a yoga app, running or weight training, the right app will help you stay on track and get the results to have a sexy, healthy, and fit body.
I have put together a list of some of my favorite and effective fitness apps to help you transform from average to fabulous!
- Pocket Yoga: If your fitness style is yoga then this is the app for you. For the price of $2.99 this app gives you an entire series of yoga poses. It also gives you demonstrations of the different poses and how long you should stay in them.
- Obstacles XRT: If yoga is too calm for you and you're looking for a more extreme type of boot camp workout, then the obstacles XRT is the right app for you. This app offers high intensity interval training to give you the most beneficial workout in the least amount of time. App price is $1.99
- Nike Training Club: If you feel that having variety is the spice of life, then this app is perfect for you! This app features tons of 30-45 minute workouts with images and videos of how to do the workout correctly. It tracks the minutes and works you towards bonus workouts and smoothie recipes. You get all this for free.
- Couch-to-5k: If you are a runner or a beginner at the sport of running, this is a great app for you! You will be the first to sign up for the NYC marathon after using this app. It features a training program that will have you going from sitting on your coach to running a 5k marathon in a few months all for the low price of $1.99.
- Zombie Run: This is such a fun app to use if you are a runner. The way this app works is after listening to a few minutes of music, you will start to hear zombies running after you. Run fast to avoid getting eaten by the running zombies. There is an advanced 5k training version of this app as well. Price for app ranges from $1.99 - $2.99
- 7 Minute workout: Everyone has 7 minutes! Having no time to workout can no longer be an excuse for getting fit. This app gives you a daily 7 minute workout that consist of strength training moves that only takes 7 minutes to complete. It requires no gym time or work out equipment to do these exercises. You can make the 7 minute workout part of your everyday morning routine. App is free
