Where can you find live music, food samples, and free flowing booze this weekend? At Sound Bites, a musical and culinary festival, held at the Ronald Reagan Building this Sunday May 4th from 1-5pm. Proceeds will benefit DC Central Kitchen, an organization which seeks to reduce hunger in the city.
Food and drink samples will be in abundance, and will include a paella station from Jaleo, gelato from Dolci Gelati, Pimm’s cups from Roofers Union, papri chaat from Indique, boozy lemonade from Black Jack, and much more. Participants include Cava Mezze, Founding Farmers, Zaytinya, Jack Rose, Vinoteca, Republic, and others.
There will also be live music from different bands and DJS, and special events such as a mixologist competition.
Listening to good music while eating and drinking items prepared by some of DC’s best chefs and mixologists all in the name of a good cause sounds like a fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Buy your tickets today at www.soundbitesdc.org. Tickets are $65 and include all you can eat and drink!
