This race is great for families, as children 10 and up can participate with a parent. Have kids that are younger? Don't worry, there are plenty of pre and post race activities for them as well, like a foam pit, bounce house, and limbo bar.
The 5k Foam Fest isn't just about fun, they have also teamed up with Special Olympics Georgia and will be donating a portion of their proceeds to this amazing organization. Not only will you be signing up for hours of fun, you'll be supporting a wonderful local charity in the process.
The Atlanta 5k Foam Fest is taking place on March 16th at Atlanta Motor Speedway, just south of Atlanta in Hampton. Race waves are available anytime from 8:20am to 1:20pm, and registration starts at just $65 if you sign up now. Registration fees do increase (up to $75) as the race date gets closer, so be sure to sign up right away to get the best deal. If you are coming from out of town, or just don't want to make the drive right before the race, the Comfort Inn in Griffin is offering a special rate just for 5k Foam Fest participants.
