50th Annual Breckenridge Ullr Fest Jan. 06-12

Join the snow-loving hoards in Breckenridge all this week to celebrate Ullr, the Norse god of snow, at the 50th Annual Breckenridge Ullr Fest. The snow themed revelry starts Monday, Jan. 7 with a family friendly night of skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and a bonfire at the Gold Run Nordic Center. Tuesday is the Ullympics with madcap events like the frying pan toss and the ski boot relay. Local radio station KSMT will host the Ullr dating game on Wednesday followed on Thursday with an Ullr parade and fireworks. The celebrations continue into the weekend with a comedy night on Friday, a pond hockey tournament on Saturday and finally the Ullr Fashion Show on Sunday, Jan. 12. Most events are free to join and promise to be a uniquely unforgettable experience in the snow.
