50 year anniversary of LBJ's 'War on Poverty'

Today we look back 50 years to January 8, 1964 when President Lyndon B. Johnson delivered his State of the Union address. It was the launch of 'The War on Poverty."

On August 20, 1964, President Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act into law.
