The “50 Shades of Grey” movie has gotten another fan favorite for the role of Christian Grey, according to a Feb. 27 report by Fans Share. The newest fine male specimen making Fifty Fans drool is a dreamy male model named Devin Paisley.
Author E. L. James recently revealed that fans might find her picks for the “50 Shades of Grey” movie a little surprising, so now the search is on for guys who aren’t Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer, or Henry Cavill -- these three hotties have gotten a ton of buzz, so it definitely wouldn’t shock fans if one of them was chosen to play Christian Grey.
“Breaking Dawn – Part 2” star Erik Odom recently caught the attention of Fifty fans by tweeting back and forth with E. L. James, and there’s even a bizarre rumor that Taylor Lautner is in talks to play Christian. However, some fans who are obviously worried about James picking a Christian Grey that’s lacking in the looks department have recently rallied behind a South African model named Devin Paisley.
Devin hasn’t done any acting yet, but a lot of popular actors were male models before making the move to movies and TV. Ian Somerhalder, Alex Pettyfer, Tom Welling, Mark Wahlberg, and Chace Crawford are just a few examples of stars that were sexy clothes hangers before their acting careers took off.
Since he'll have so much competition for the role, Devin Paisley might have his work cut out for him trying to convince the “50 Shades of Grey” filmmakers that he has the acting chops to pull off playing Christian Grey. However, his looks alone should be enough to score him an audition -- author E. L. James and Kelly Marcel would surely melt to mush after laying their eyes on the 27-year-old model. Devin has steely blue eyes and blonde hair, and he slightly resembles Henry Cavill in some photos. He also looks a bit like a young William Levy, but he has a great head of hair like Robert Pattinson.
Other “50 Shades” movie options that have fan followings but aren’t heavy favorites include “Arrow” actor Stephen Amell, “DietTribe” trainer Jessie Pavelka, and “Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles.
