’50 Shades of Grey’ movie: Jason Momoa would be a beefy Christian Grey

50 Shades of Greymovie casting talk is mostly focused on a few good-looking guys who are fit but not too brawny. Favorites Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder are both chiseled guys, but they obviously don't worry about bulking up too much. However, a Feb. 1 report by EnStarz argues that huskier Hollywood hunk Jason Momoa would make the best Christian Grey.

The “Game of Thrones” star unwittingly entered the casting race when he recently revealed his raunchy workout routine. TMZ asked the actor what he does to stay in such amazing shape, and he responded by bluntly saying, “I f**k a lot.” So at least he has something in common with Christian Grey.

Unfortunately Jason Momoa just doesn’t get cast as refined characters like Christian. In “Game of Thrones” and “Conan the Barbarian,” he plays strong warriors who have no use for classical music and designer menswear. But because Jason gets typecast so much, maybe he would like to star in something completely different like the “50 Shades of Grey” movie. He could prove that he’s not just a living action figure by out-acting Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder to score the role, and at least is sounds like he’ll know what he’s doing in Christian Grey’s Red Room of Pain.

Jason Momoa isn’t the only hulky hottie that fans want to see in the “50 Shades of Grey” movie. “The Avengers” actor Chris Hemsworth has a similar build, and “Magic Mike” star Channing Tatum is also a sexy slice of beefcake. Henry Cavill wasn’t always so strapping, but he had to pack on the muscle to play Superman in “Man of Steel.” There’s even a fan campaign to get tough personal trainer Jessie Pavelka cast as Christian Grey. Jessie doesn’t have much acting experience, but women love his washboard abs and his chiseled chest.

So do you picture Mr. Grey with a slim and trim physique like Matt Bomer’s, or do you want to see the BDSM-loving billionaire played by a brawnier guy?
