’50 Shades of Grey’ movie: Hackers reveal that Emma Watson is Anastasia Steele

Hackers have discovered that Emma Watson will be playing Anastasia Steele in the “50 Shades of Greymovie. According to a March 14 report by Screencrush, the hacker group known as Anonymous found out about Emma’s connection to the film by breaking into the database of German movie studio Constantin.

Last year rumors surfaced that Emma was in talks to play student sex slave Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of E. L. James’ erotic novel about a BDSM relationship. However, the “Harry Potter” star denied them at the time.

Anonymous could be lying about finding files connecting Emma Watson to the “50 Shades of Grey” movie. After all, it’s kind of hard to trust hackers that enjoy doing things “for the lulz.” However, it is interesting that Emma recently turned down the lead role in the live action “Cinderella” movie that’s in the works. Since it’s a Disney movie, perhaps the House of Mouse opted against casting Emma as a pristine princess after learning that she’s already connected to such a raunchy role. Or perhaps Emma had to choose between the “50 Shades of Grey” movie and “Cinderella” because of scheduling conflicts.

Emma is trying to prove that she’s all grown up by playing a criminal in the upcoming Sofia Coppola movie “The Bling Ring,” so perhaps “50 Shades” is the logical next step toward leaving her Hermione days far behind. However, hopefully she hasn’t pulled an Elizabeth Berkley by signing on for a film that will prove to be nothing but a laughable disaster that's just an excuse to showcase lots of nude scenes. “Showgirls” was supposed to help Elizabeth transition from being seen as a child star to being taken seriously as an adult actress, but it just tarnished the "Saved by the Bell" beauty's image and prevented her from scoring any decent roles for years.

Emma also hasn’t ever outright said that she doesn’t want to play Anastasia Steele, so maybe there is some truth to this report.

So can you picture Emma in Christian Grey’s Red Room of Pain?
