'50 Shades of Grey' movie favorite Emilia Clarke gets nude and causes frenzy

50 Shades of Greymovie favorite Emilia Clarke should definitely have fans lining up at movie theaters if she gets cast as Anastasia Steele. According to a March 7 report by the New York Post, the actress caused a fan frenzy during her nude scenes in the Broadway play “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

The “Game of Thrones” beauty and “Gilmore Girls” actress Alexis Bledel are two of the heaviest favorites for the role of Ana in the “50 Shades” film, but Emilia might have an edge since she’s actually done nude scenes before. And apparently the actress has some fiercely loyal fans who can’t get enough of seeing her in the buff -- security had to be beefed up at the Cort Theatre because so many members of the audience were ignoring Broadway’s no photo policy to snap shots of Emilia’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” nude scene.

The nude scene in question calls for Emilia Clarke to hop in a bathtub after taking off a towel, but audiences apparently don’t get as much of an eyeful as they do during some of the actress’ “Game of Thrones” scenes -- bubbles that are “strategically placed” cover up her naughty bits so that the audience can’t see everything.

It’s likely that most of the audience members trying to sneak nude photos of Emilia were male, and the actress has won a lot of male fans by appearing on “Game of Thrones.” So perhaps the “50 Shades of Grey” movie producers should really consider casting her as Anastasia Steele because of this fan base. The movie is obviously going to attract a large female crowd already, but more men might flock to see it if an actress they know and admire is cast as Ana.

So what do you think -- should Emilia become Hollywood’s undisputed nude scene queen by getting cast as Christian Grey’s sex slave?
