The first ever San Jose Vibhasana Yoga Conference will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center the weekend of November 5th and 6th and features world-class teachers. Some teachers will be be familiar to Bay Area yogis and others will be visiting just for the conference. On the schedule are specialized classes to delight any yogi's practice palette, from Medecine Yoga to Hoop Dance and How to be a Yoga Ninja. You'll be able to study with renowned teachers of Acro-yoga, Anusara inspired teachers, Jivamukti and Ayurveda. Morning meditations will be offered by San Jose Sangha leader Berget Jelane (interview featured in this column this weekend) and if you're new to yoga attend the free Beginners classes both mornings.
Proceeds benefit The Art of Yoga Project serving incarcerated girls in the Bay Area and projects of Vibha, benefiting children in India where yoga was born.
