If you know anything about the beef between 50 Cent and the website WorldStarhiphop.com, you know it isn’t pretty. The issue of a photo of 50 Cent used on the website allegedly illegally will have its day in court in two weeks’ time but today when the online website went offline, people were in disbelief.
One person who wasn’t surprised was 50 Cent who got on his Twitter account announcing World Star Hip Hop was no more. This was earlier Monday morning and tonight the war of words took to the airwaves of the radio when Q said 50 Cent had nothing to do with it. Then 50 Cent replied that if he did the public could decide.
The back and forth was brought to a boil tonight when Q and 50 Cent got on the phone thanks to Angie Martinez who patched the call together. While on the telephone 50 Cent reamed Q, who agreed to come to New York and sit down with the rapper to discuss the issues.
The call was posted online around 6pm central time Monday by the rapper so fans could listen. It is absolutely hysterical as 50 Cent goes off telling Q he can dress up nice, but still knows the way around the streets. While 50 Cent is serious and repeatedly calls Q a punk, the others in the office can’t stop laughing.
The problem with the World Star Hip Hop (worldstarhiphop.com) is the alleged copyright infringements. Celebrities are alleging this website rips video and images to illegally place on the site. Without the proper credit, it gives the fans the wrong impressions. The site has been taken down a couple of times but there is no proof 50 Cent did or did not contribute to this particular shutdown.
Take a look at the video clip of 50 Cent and Q on the telephone. The two definitely don’t sound like they are pals however this might work out.
