What is it about Christmas lights that make a space so energized and magical? Even though they are inexpensive, they instantly make a room feel cozy and romantic. Using string lights creates an atmosphere that we just cannot help but to be in and around. So, why not get creative and add them into your bedroom scheme? They can be used to decorate for the holiday season, but they can also stay up all year round if they fit in with your decor. Lights can be added to just about any bedroom in the house, from the master bedroom, to a guest room, children’s bedrooms to a bachelor pad or even a dorm room.

There are many different ways they can be incorporated, from draping them over a footboard to adding them into a headboard; they can be placed around a mirror, along the ceiling or even around a window. To create an inviting space, pair string lights with sheer white curtains and hang around the bed. The combination will create a slightly enclosed and super romantic ambiance.
