Who should be in 'WWE 2K15'

The announcement on Monday of Sting's long-awaited arrival in a WWE video game certainly set the tone for the future of the game, but how does 2K keep the ball rolling? With the announcement of the WWE Network earlier this year, both 2K and the WWE would be smart to keep the great rebel legends of the past coming to the forefront of this year's game.

Here's our short list of performers who should be added to the roster of "WWE 2K15."

5: The Entire WWE Hall of Fame class of 2014: This just makes a ton of sense and should be instituted every year since it would build buzz for the game very early in the development cycle as well.

4: Harley Race: If you didn't know, Race was a hardcore badass during his career and a multi-time NWA Champion. He once set a fire to a WWE ring for being in his territory. He's also the guy that Ric Flair beat that set "The Nature Boy" on his path to greatness. Now that the WWE Network lets you relive all of those great matches, why not play through them in the game.

3: The Fabulous Freebirds: You want to talk about rebels? These guys (regardless of the combination), especially Michael P.S. Hayes, were setting off pipe bombs before CM Punk could spell his own name. A great theme song, entrance and cool look only make their addition to the game more necessary.

2: Sid: With a good move set, a great entrance and a hefty resume that includes stints as a WCW, ECW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Sid belongs in the game.

1: Brian Pillman: One of the rare performers to wrassle and thrive in the WWE, WCW and ECW, Pillman's appearance in the game would reconnect him with millions of old fans and reintroduce him to even more. Like Sting, he could have various attired to represent the different times in his career.

“WWE 2K15” is set for a October 28 release in North America and will ship on October 31 internationally on the PlayStation 3, XBox 360, XBox One and PlayStation 4 game consoles.

What do you think of these additions to the game? Will you buy "WWE 2K15" when it's released? Sound off in the comment section below.
