Do you feel like you're focused on weight loss...but failing?  One possible cause, according to new research: choosing the wrong foods. The good news: some simple swaps just might be the kickstart you need to succeed!

A recent study of physicians and nurses published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that these 5 foods led the list of weight gain culprits:

  1. potato chips
  2. French fries
  3. regular (not diet) sodas
  4. red meat
  5. foods with trans fat like pastries
