Tip 1. Think yourself into shape. This means we need invoke the power of our minds. Think healthy thoughts. Visualize how you will look, feel, and behave when you are at your optimum weight and fitness level. Remember, every goal that is reached starts with a thought in the mind.

Tip 2. Keep a food diary. This is one of the most important tips to get in shape. It is difficult to modify our eating habits when we have no idea of what or how much we are eating. Most of us eat mindlessly – on the run, or in from of the television. Keep a log and you’ll begin to make wiser food choices.

Tip 3. Pace yourself. No matter how desperate we are to become fit, we need to pace ourselves to avoid injury. Start your new exercise regimen by taking 30 minute walks. Later try something more strenuous like jogging or aerobics.

Tip 4. Drink almond milk. Another great tip to get in shape is to drink almond milk before each meal and snack. It will curb your appetite. You will feel full faster, eat less, and therefore reach a healthier weight faster.

Tip 5. Love yourself. People take care of the things they love. When you truly love yourself, you will take better of your body. You will make eat better, sleep better, and exercise your body because you are important.
