By Neil Mammen. 2013 is going to be a full year for apologetics events in the Silicon Valley.
First of all, stay tuned for the *No Blind Faith/BIOLA Apologetics Conference* coming *Fall 2013*. We are expecting a few of the BIOLA professors, including Craig Hazen, to join us at No Blind Faith in reaching out to Silicon Valley.
More news as we develop the details. We hope to partner with local churches and college ministries to make this a huge local event. Please email me if you want to help out promoting or bringing your youth and college and adult Sunday Schools to it. The topic will be something along the lines of : *How to witness to your friends at work without getting fired.*
'Til then here are 5 different classes/series I'll be teaching for the first few months in 2013. If you are interested or have an atheist friend or skeptical teenager who may be interested, why not come join us?

Topic: How can God exist when there's so much evil in the World? (tentative)
The first barrier people have to Christianity is this. What do you tell someone who just lost their child? Why doesn't God do something about evil? Is God unable to stop evil, meaning He's not powerful? Or is He unwilling to stop evil, meaning He's not good? How do you give them a compassionate yet truthful answer?

*Topics*
*Jan 24. How can God exist when there is so much evil in the world?*
*Jan 31. Does Truth Exist? What is Truth?*
How can you witness God's truth to someone if they don't believe Truth exists? So is truth relative and personal, or absolute and objective? Americans have been influenced by the New Age and Hindu religions and often believe: There is no truth. What is a self-refuting statement? How do you respond to people who say that‚s we are arrogant to think that we know the truth and everyone else is wrong. Learn to have fun answering objections that leave many speechless.
*Feb 7. How to morally run a red light!*
Is there an Objective Morality? If there is no objective morality, why was Hitler wrong? If there is an objective morality why do you get to decide what it is and not Hitler?
Often when witnessing you'll be asked: Who's to say what is wrong or right? Isn't it just a preference of society? How do you respond to that? Is right and wrong culturally determined and a preference of society? Is there a difference between Mother Theresa and Hitler? Can we legislate morality? Do laws change hearts? How do you win arguments about this?
*Feb 14. Christianity and Social Justice*
What's the Christian and the Church's role in social justice? Was Jesus involved in politics? Should we be? Has Christian involvement in politics ever worked? Was Jesus a socialist? How do you refute socialism using the Bible? What's wrong with Government Health Care?
