5 Seconds of Summer bass player Calum Hood caught with his pants down

Calum Hood, the bass player for boy band 5 Seconds of Summer, was caught with his pants down and his American Apparel underwear were nowhere in sight either. The 18-year old musician was caught in a social media snafu when he sent a fan a dirty picture and she shared it with the world. According to the Music Times on Friday, Calum Hood decided to send an x-rated shot of his penis to a fan via Snapchat and now his privates aren't so private.

Unfortunately for Calum, the girl he sent his selfie to apparently didn't think to keep it a secret. Instead, she loaded the bass player's mini bass up on Vine and put it out there for the world to see. Calum was quick to cop to the picture despite the fact that his head and face were not in it. He took to Twitter soon after the Snapchat leak and said, "Least ya know what it looks like now." In the next tweet he said, "I'm still just a teenage kid learning from mistakes :)"

Sending selfies of one's penis is a mistake indeed and one that the 18-year old rock star should have already known not to do. Calum had to know that his special picture would spend way more than five seconds getting passed around the internet. Tween and teen girls are rejoicing right now at the sight of their favorite rock star giving them a shocking anatomy lesson. For Calum, this may turn out to be a hard lesson (pun intended) for the young star who seems to have taken the picture share in stride.
