5 reasons to remain healthy after you get married
Let’s face it. When you get married, you tend to relax a little. You don’t worry quite as much about what you eat and how much you exercise. After all, you have found the love of your life…and that kind of love is unconditional. Right?
Unfortunately, marriage does not always have a storybook ending. Married love is not always unconditional love, as nice and perfect as it sounds. Just because your spouse finds you attractive at a certain weight does not mean that he or she will find you attractive if you weigh 100 pounds more or 100 pounds less.
When it comes to your health, there is no better time to be your best than after you are married. It is not the time to let yourself go.
Striving to be healthy shows:
-that you love yourself enough to do what is best for not only yourself, but for your family. When you demonstrate that you love yourself and respect your body, others are more prone to love and respect you too.
-that you want to live a life filled with vitality. When you feel good, you have more to offer to your family and to society as a whole
-that you care about your sexual relationship. When you are healthy, this translates into the sexual relationship that you have with your spouse. Not only do you feel better, you look better.
-that you want to life a long life. When you do not take good care of your body, you are robbing your loved ones of precious moments with you. If you are healthy, you will live longer.
-that you want to be a good role model for your family. When your spouse and children see you eating healthy and exercising, you are showing them the awesome rewards that can result. They will be more prone to take care of themselves.
