Want to master life on earth? Want to completely thrive? Want to get out of your earthly experience all that it truly offers? You can. We all can. It’s a simple thing to do. One step in this process is to simply master the feelings of disappointment, frustration, heartbreak and sadness. When you have mastered what it means to truly means to experience these emotions, you are a step closer to being a truly actualized human being. The five of cups often pops up to remind us of this.
A tremendous part of life are the emotions we feel. They each represent a part of our soul, who we are in human form. To truly be a master of humanity, we must experience each emotion fully without shirking away from them. We must face them, embrace them, and live them. The way to do this is to not push them away when they come up in us. Experience each emotion fully. Take note of where they come from, how we feel with them, and how we feel about them. Pushing them away does not allow you to do this. Pushing them away only puts them on hold. They will resurface later. When they resurface later, what will you do? Will you fully experience them then, or will you just push them away again? You might as well experience whatever emotion it is now.
By doing so, you are creating opportunities for new growth later, as synchronicities will not have to be created to experience these again. Synchronies can instead be created to experience new energies and new growth.
Of course, this is easy to do with the positive emotions. It is great to experience such things as happiness, love, joy, excitement, etc. We can embrace these and experience these with little trouble. It’s the negative emotions such as sadness, anger, disappointment, and jealousy that we struggle with. This is why we can say that to master these emotions is to master life in human form.
This does not mean to simply mask your feelings. If you feel sad, for example, don’t pretend to be happy. It means to feel the sadness. It means to go deep into the emotion and explore its nuances. It means to understand it and all it has to tell you about yourself and others. Once you do this. You have mastered it. Once mastered, it does not have a hold on you. Will you still feel these emotions in the future? Naturally, you will. But now you understand it better. Now it won’t have a hold on you. You can experience it and move on from it. You are free of its shadow.
When the 5 of cups comes up for you in a reading, think about this. Are you denying your emotions? Are you pushing them away? Or are you learning from them. Are you gaining an understanding of how these emotions make you a fully actualized human being?
