1- Acne Scrub
Baking Soda is a great face exfoliant. It gently exfoliates the skin to clear up acne.
Mix 1 teaspoon of soda with few drops of water to make a paste . Add a drop of Vitamin E. Apply to your skin and gently rub it in a circular motion. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse.
2- Clarifying Sugar Scrub
Brown sugar is another wonderful exfoliant. Honey is a natural moisturizer while lemon is a great for clearing up acne scars and blemishes.
Mix 1 teaspoon of Brown sugar with 1/2 teaspoom of honey. Add a squeese of lemon juice. Apply mixture to the face ( avoiding around the eyes). Rinse off after few minutes.
3- Nourishing Face Scrub
Coconut oil is an amazing oil with many benefits. It moisturizes, and nourishes the skin. It also helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda. Mix well until it forms a creamy paste. Apply to the skin, and exfoliate in a gentle circular motion. Leave on for 5 minutes then rinse off with luke water.
4- Collagen Boost Coffee Scrub
Coffee is rich is caffeic acid, which contains anti-inflammatory properties and boosts collagen production in the skin.
Mix 3 tablespoons fine grounded coffee ( brewed if possible, since it makes exfoliating more gentle for the skin) with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well, and apply to your skin. Exfoliate gently, leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse off.
The coffee scrub is also great for the body. It eliminates cellulite and nourishes the skin.
5- Soothing Oatmeal Scrub
Oatmeal is one of the best exfoliating agents. It absorbs oils and removes dirt & impurities from the skin.
Mix 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal with 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of water or olive oil to make it into a paste. Gently rub it onto you skin in circular motions, let sit for five to 10 minutes and rinse.
