When Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory wed tennis pro Ryan Sweeting on New Year's Eve 2014, she looked beautiful in her pink wedding dress. Photos of the happy couple's big event, which took place just north of Los Angeles at a ranch in Simi Valley, CA, emerged online while Cuoco wrote 'greatest night of my entire life' on Instagram.
In wearing the controversial blush-colored dream wedding gown, Cuoco joined fellow celebrities Anne Hathaway, Reese Witherspoon, Gwen Stefani, and Jessica Biel, who all have previously worn pink or pink-accented dresses to tie the knot. No matter how you feel about the color, there are other good reasons we can't deny that in this case her choice was perfect for the occasion. Here are the top 5 reasons to love Kaley Cuoco's pink wedding dress:
1. It's strapless.
Nothing says Southern California mid-winter wedding like a strapless wedding gown. Why? Because we can.
2. It's a princess dress.
Never mind the color, any dress with Chantilly lace, fluffy tulle and a sweetheart neckline is a princess dress, which of course is highly appropriate on anyone's wedding day.
3. It's Vera Wang.
That's right. It's Vera Wang.
4. It goes with the theme of the wedding.
Red mixed with white makes pink. Since the theme of the wedding was 'Fire and Ice' the blush hue of Kaley Cuoco's wedding dress was even more appropriate.
5. It is so now.
Or at least it was at the time of the New Year's Eve wedding. Now, it is so last year.
