Beat Coach Pete – There is still time to register for Saturday's 5K fun run with Coach Chris Peterson. You can multi-task by getting a little exercise and supporting Boise State students at the same event, or just show up and cheer for your favorite runner. More information HERE.

File your 2011 tax returns – While this is not an outdoor physical activity, completing your IRS obligations on time will alleviate stress. File your returns and put that burden behind you!

Plant a garden – It's easy! The physical activity required to plant and care for a garden is not strenuous, but it offers benefits – especially stress relief. Get some exercise this weekend and prepare for a diet full of fresh produce in the fall.

Nampa Food Truck Rally – Support Nampa's first food truck rally at Lloyd's Square on Saturday, April 14 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Some proceeds will go to benefit the 'FIX the PIX' project to restore the PIX Theatre in downtown Nampa. More Information.

Go for a bike ride – Join a club like Community Bicycle Rides and enjoy the support of group training all season, or visit Ridge to Rivers to find a route and explore on your own.

There is always something to do in the Treasure Valley. These are only a few suggestions for activities to enjoy this weekend. Look for more ideas at This Weekend on examiner.
