Now as you read about these five haunted places in Arizona, please keep an open mind. Sure some of these stories may sound like urban legends but can we really judge a story? Only if we've been to that place I suppose. I've never seen any of these places so I can't say if they are truly haunted but I like to think that any story either fake or real just sounds good to share.
1. Ajo-Crater Bridge
In the 1950s, a couple around midnight were driving through Crater Range and crashed their car. So legend has it if you drive through Crater Range after midnight you can see their car and the couple standing outside of their car trying to hail for help!
2. Casa Grande- Casa Grande Mountain
While driving at the base of the mountain late at night you will see a black mist. If you are walking in the desert the black mist will follow you. The website that I've read, didn't say exactly why there was a black mist or where it came from but it sounds like something evil is haunting, Casa Grande Mountain.
3. Kingman, Brunswick Hotel
It seems like there are many stories about hotel's being haunted. I think because so much happens in them and the older the hotel it is means that it has more of a rich history. The Brunswick Hotel is noted for having items move by itself, noises in the hallway, and you will hear whispered voices.
4. Mesa, Alta Mesa
Every night between 11:30 pm and midnight the doors and the cabinets open and close by themselves. Black shadows have been reported being seen and also a little girl's ghost has been seen by people.
5. Tombstone, Bird Cage Theater
The Bird Cage Theater has had a lot of things happen, ghostly female signing, shadows in corners of the theater, apparition of a woman in white, objects move by themselves and mysterious music is heard throughout the theater.
So those are just some of the places in Arizona that are haunted. If you know any other ones or have had an experience please share.
