You are late for a date and just noticed a problem with your outfit. Don't worry. Your Tampa Fashion and Beauty Examiner has some tips to keep you looking perfectly posh and cool under fire. And best of all...they all use items you probably already have on hand.
1. Have a wrinkled collar and no time to pull out the old ironing board and iron? Reach for your flat iron! The quick heating double-sided ceramic plates not only give you smooth, silky hair, they create the perfect crisp collar! You can also use your flat iron to smooth out wrinkles on sleeves, cuffs, and accessories such as scarfs. Be sure to test fabric in an inconspicuous place first.
2. White deodorant marks on your blouse? Ball up a pair of your pantyhose and gently rub the stain away. It works just as well as those gal pal products and is extremely gentle on fabric.
3. Found a blemish on your red patent leather pumps? Pull out your red nail polish! Apply just a dab directly on the mark and let dry completely. This works best with high gloss leather or pleather items. Try it with other colors and accessories as well.
4. Clasp on your necklace suddenly breaks? Grab a paperclip and feed both ends of the chain through the loop in the clip one at a time. Then slide the paperclip to the back where no one will see it.
5. Zipper pull on your jeans suddenly breaks off or is missing? Reach for a safety pin. Feed the sharp point of the pin through the hole in the zipper head and close pin. Use the saftey pin to pull the zipper closed and remove pin. Be sure to place the safety pin in your pocket or other handy, safe place so it is readily available when you need to unzip!
