5 Chicagoland eateries to treat mom on Mother's Day

Have you yet to make plans to celebrate the special mom in your life? There are plenty of places in Chicagoland that will be offering up some great menus to make mom feel appreciated. Make a reservation for mom where she can enjoy a gourmet meal and let someone else do the cooking and clean-up.

1) Weber Grill with locations in Chicago, Schaumburg and Lombard

Special brunch items will be offered until 2 p.m., including a Kids Brunch Plate for just $6.50. Additional featured menu items include a seasonal salad, crusted NY strip steak, plank grilled Alaskan halibut and lemon meringue tart and are available all day.

2) Pinstripes with locations in Northbrook, South Barrington & Oak Brook

Enjoy a fun day of bowling and bocce with mom and a brunch buffet ($30 for adults, $15 for kids 6 - 12 and free for ages 5 and under with carved prime rib, shrimp, flatbreads, build your own omelets, Kids Corner and more, flowers for mom and a photo contest for a chance to win a party for 10.

3) Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in Chicago

Treat mom to a three-course adventure at Fleming’s with an innovative brunch at $39.95 per guest and $18.95 for children under 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition, each mom will receive a $25 dining card valid for a future visit. Some of the brunch items included are Prime Rib Hash, Baked Brioche French Toast layered in vanilla and orange custard and Summer Squash Gratin.

4) Oceanique in Evanston

Mom will surely love dining at one of the Chicago area's finest French American restaurants, a spot that has earned a "Best of" designation from Wine Spectator, given to only 750 wine lists in the world. The seven-course tasting menu at $105 per person includes such specialties from Chef Mark Grosz as Wild Maine Day Boat Scallops, Butternut Squash Ravioli and Wild Norwegian Cod.

5) Untitled in Chicago

The River North eatery will open special for the holiday featuring a Farm to Table Brunch Sharing Menu with Genesis and Slagel Farms plus John Burnett Orchestra, a 1940’s Chicago-based swing big band, will perform.
