4th of July craft for kids

See also

The 4th of July can be such a fun holiday for kids, and what better way to get them involved in the holiday than by making patriotic crafts together. You can use this cute craft as a centerpiece for picnics, or just as decoration in your windows.

You can also purchase a pre-made version of this craft, but making it on your own will allow you to make it whatever size you want.

To make this craft, you will need:

To start, cut the star wire garland into various lengths, depending on how high you want your craft to be. Stick the cut strips into a piece of round Styrofoam near the center. Add as many pieces as you'd like to get the fullness you're looking for. Next, cut a square piece of foil wrap and wrap it around the Styrofoam, then tie a piece of ribbon around to fold in place.

Using a mixture of red and blue foil wrap and ribbon will make your crafts each look a little different. You can also use more festive ribbon, but will probably need to glue in place to get it to hold.
