Enjoy a fun-filled day in Coconut Grove and top off your holiday celebration with a spectacular firework celebration at 9:00 p.m.
Spend your Independence Day with interactive family-friendly festivities in Coconut Grove and top off the holiday celebration with spectacular fireworks display at Peacock Park, sponsored by the City of Miami, District II and the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District.This annual celebration features activities throughout the Grove during the day, including The Barnacle’s Old Fashioned Picnic from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and CocoWalk’s 6th Annual Independence Day Hot Dog Eating Competition at 5:00 p.m.
Following a day of fun in the district, pack picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy one of Miami’s favorite 4th of July celebrations at Peacock Park! Children can enjoy free ice cream provided by PointeGroup. Local merchants, such as Art Box and Art Therapy Consulting Services, will provide free interactive art workshops for children to enjoy! Returning for their second independence day celebration, Fellowship Church will offer free balloon animals and face painting for children of all ages.
All festivities at Peacock Park begin at 5:00 p.m. and concludes following the fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
Local restaurants and shops will feature special offers, raffles and holiday gifts for kids.
