Coming to the DC area on March 24th is the 4th annual TRI-Mania Summit and Expo (formerly known as the Multisport World Conference and Expo). The expo will be held at Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, Maryland from 10 AM until 4:30 PM.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Mark Allen, named the “World’s Greatest Triathlete” and winner of 5 Ironman World Championships. Not only will Mark Allen be speaking but he will also lead a clinic and half-day workshop.
Numerous other clinics will be offered including Total Immersion Swimming, Evolution Running, as well as other exciting and informational classes to help create the well-rounded triathlete. In order to participate in these clinics athletes need to register in advance at http://www.tri-mania.com/Washington_DC/Clinics_and_Workshops.htm and may need to pay a fee. In addition to the clinics and workshops above athletes can also sign up for body composition testing in the BOD POD available from the Be Fit Test booth on the expo floor.
Admission to the seminars and vendor expo is free. After registering participants will be eligible to win the grand prize giveaway, a CompuTrainer Pro valued at $1,500. Registration also makes athletes eligible to win other great prizes, receive a swag bag for the first 500 registrants, and receive exclusive discounts on clinics and workshops offered throughout the day.
More information, directions to the expo, and registration can be done at http://www.tri-mania.com/Washington_DC.htm/ .
