4th annual Comic Con coming to Phoenix

The Amazing Arizona Comic Con is returning to Phoenix to entertain fans with some of the best that the world of comic books has to offer! One of the most popular events of the season, this event will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center January 24th – 26th, 2014.

There will be several famous celebrity guests in attendance. Just to name of few: Robert Kirkman, the creator of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead, Geoff Johns, the DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and Forever Evil Writer, Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne on Walking Dead, Monika Lee and Jessica Nigiri from the reality show Heroes of Cosplay.

Fans will also have access to some of the creators of their favorite comic books during Q&A sessions that will be held during this week-end long event. There will also be more than 150 exhibitors and 200+ talented sketch artists available for signing autographs and doing sketches.

Program highlights include the Zombie Sketch Experience, the Arizona Avengers (based on Marvel Comics’ The Avengers), a Zombie Beauty Pageant that will take place on Friday at 6:30 pm, and a Costume Contest on Saturday evening. Kids Day will be all day on Sunday where there will be free sketches by Mat Nastos, one of the artists from Phineas and Ferb, a morning cartoon session with Adventure Time and My Little Pony, a costume parade, and a video game arena. Friday- or Sunday-only passes $25, Saturday $35

Weekend passes $60

VIP tickets $160 to $200

Kids 10 and under – FREE all weekend with a paid adult admission
