Now that the Plastic Texture Pack has released for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, 4J Studios has teased the first look at the second standalone texture pack that will launch for the popular block building game. The developer revealed the first screens of the upcoming Natural Texture Pack on Oct 15.
While the first independent texture pack further simplified the game’s blocky visuals, the Natural Texture Pack hopes to make the console version of Minecraft look a little more realistic. 4J Studios' first screens of the second texture set shows off the new material blocks as fans will see them with the Natural Texture Pack applied. The changes provided via texture packs may be slight, but do allow gamers to further customize their gameplay experience.
Before the release of texture packs, Xbox 360 owners had no way of altering the appearance of their Minecraft worlds like PC players could. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is now available in stores or as a digital download via Xbox Live Arcade.
