49-year-old MMA star Kim Woods fights 21-year-old Jenna Fox in ECR title bout

Illinois MMA babe Jenna Fox said on Feb. 8 in an exclusive interview with Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden that she'll be fighting 49-year-old Kim Woods on March 9 at the Caged Aggression IX: Return of the Champions event slated for the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, Illinois.

Fox, 21, admits it's a little strange to be fighting someone 28 years her elder, but age is nothing but a number come fight night.

"It's a little strange," Fox said of fighting Woods. "I've never fought someone that much older than me, but I have great respect for her for doing it and I won't be taking her lightly."

The tilt between Fox and Woods has "Fight of the Night" written all over it, as both come into the bout with undefeated records. As the old adage goes, "someone's O has got to go."

Fox and Woods will square off for the first ever ECR Female Championship Title.

Central Illinois Combat Club's Fox will put her 8-0 record on the line against Tarpein's own 3-0 Woods.

At more than double her opponent's age, Woods looks to wrap up her MMA career with a big 'W,' while Fox looks to keep her undefeated streak alive against her toughest opponent to date.

The ECR fight night is a two-evening event, where Illinois fans will be able to see which one of these ladies will take home the gold.

March 8 and 9, Extreme Cage Rentals and Bud Light presents: Caged Aggression IX: Return of the Champions, live from the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, IL. Tickets are available now at Cagetix.com. Countdown trailer, fight card, contests, and more details about the event will be coming soon.
