48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is a filmmaking experience that is held in more than 90 cities around the world and will be celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2011. Dallas will again be participating and the dates of the event weekend have been announced as April 15-17, 2011. Registration to compete will begin on February 18, 2011.
These dates will give filmmakers the opportunity to participate in Dallas International Film Festival during the early part of the month, Easter on the weekend of the 24th, and USA Film Festival on April 27 - May 1.
All 48HFP Dallas screenings will take place during the 41st Annual USA Film Festival and the winners will be announced during USAFF Award Ceremony on Sunday, May 1.
For the 2nd year in a row, 48HFP Dallas will be partnering with USA Film Festival for the screenings to be held at the Angelika Film Center and Cafe at Mockingbird Station.
