Alyssa Milano has released what appears to be an attempt at political satire in the form of a mock sex tape, in an effort to retain her fading image as a sex symbol while reviving Obama's almost nonexistent support for an invasion of Syria. The advertisement for war seems geared towards an uncritical and uninformed audience, the type often found at websites like Funnyordie.com, where the video was posted. The video features a quasi-activist theme reminiscent of the utterly misfired Kony 2012 media campaign, which like Milano's video attempted to make military aggression appear somehow "liberal" or compassionate.
The alleged humor of the video consists of the camera being left facing the television screen while recording, showing the audience a newscast on Milano's TV explaining why we must invade Syria, instead of Milano having sex. Not surprisingly, the video offers no substantial information, merely presenting White House talking points which are brief and basic enough for an intellectually lethargic audience to passively accept. Jane Fonda taught the military industrial complex the potential influence a Hollywood sex symbol can wield over America's political sensibilities. Alyssa Milano seems to be utilizing a similar strategy for the purpose of war rather than peace. Here's a link to the video:
