40 service providers signed up for Senior Health and Information Fair

Need a good handyman? Looking for a place to get solid legal and financial advice? Find what you are look for at the Senior Health and Information Fair Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adults of all ages are welcome.

The event, held at the Recreation Center at Southridge in Highlands Ranch, will assemble service providers under one roof, making it easy to gather information on multiple topics in one location. In addition, a variety of free, simple health screenings will be offered. Aging service professionals will also be on hand to answer questions about senior services and activities in the area.

“Our community has many wonderful resources, programs and activities to offer adults of all ages,” said Jodie McCann, senior outreach services coordinator for the Highlands Ranch Metro District. “Stop by and check out the bigger picture at this free community event.”

More than 40 service providers will be at the event, including Accessible Systems, American Red Cross Assist4Seniors, Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs, Douglas County Neighbor Network, Highlands Ranch Historical Society, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Senior Care of Colorado, Seniors4Kids and many more.
