40+ horse tack & gift shops kick-back June 7th for U.S. disaster funds

Horse lovers can benefit American disaster relief causes by shopping on June 7th.

More than 40 vendors of equestrian apparel, equine-themed gifts, farm supplies, riding equipment and horse tack have agreed to donate a percentage of their June 7th sales to help fun disaster relief in the United States. Many regions have been hit hard by flooding and tornadoes in recent months.

The June 7th sales are part of Horse World Gives Back, a program organized by the Horse Radio Network, which also includes a Radiothon on June 6th.

Vendors have pledged five percent of their June 7th sales to the American Red Cross and the U.S. Disaster Equine Relief Fund (administered by the Kentucky Horse Council). Monies raised will benefit both humans and horses in need.
