Where: Kent Public Library, 17 Route 52, Carmel, NY 10512
When: Saturday, Jaunary 19, 2013, from 11:30am-12:15pm
The Puppeteer Players is a group of children/young teens in grades 4 through 11 (between the approximate ages of 9 and 16) who are members of the 4-H program in Putnam County. The Players use their puppets to teach younger audiences about themes and situations they can related to, such as dealing with a bully, avoiding “stranger danger,” and/or taking on a new responsibility. After the show, there is an opportunity for the audience to meet with and ask questions of the puppeteers.
Professional Muppet-style puppets are used which are produced by the same manufacturer that crafts the beloved Sesame Street Puppets.
The performance is free, open to the public, and suitable for children of all ages. Pre-registration is not required.
