The interior is comprised of high-quality retro styling
The 2010 Chevy Camaro is not a rational car to purchase. It's manacing visage and ferocious growl will scare children and family pets back into the house. The 426 horsepower from the V8 engine in the SS are wretched excess. The narrow slits that are supposed to pass for windows and the heavily raked windshield obscure almost all visibility. The cool looking guages aft of the shifter aren't really necessary, and you can't sit up straight if you are over 5'10" tall.

The menacing front end means business
And yet, "I want one" is one of the only phrases uttered by the onlookers who aren't too awestruck to speak. If one of these onlookers happens to be your husband, beware: uttering phrases such as "that probably won't fit all the groceries" may provoke hostility in your enamored companion. When he or she looks at you like a rabid dog for "ruining the moment," don't worry - it's not your fault.

The Camaro is beautiful from all angles
How were you supposed to know it starts at only $23,040? How were you supposed to know that it gets 29 MPG on the highway (for the V6)? After all, these things are hardly apparent from looking at the car.
One thing you can easily deduce is the amount of power under the hood. The least powerful engine comes with 304 horsepower, and the most powerful SS model absolutely embarasses the competition with over 420 horsepower.
The most alluring trait of this sleek, sexy, snarling beast, is that although it looks like a supercar (and you could easily make the argument), it is priced like...well priced like there is some sort of "going out of business" sale. Let's hope I'm not clairevoyant, because GM is coming out with some of the best deals in decades.

For sports car lovers, a test drive in the new Camaro is a no-brainer. There is no telling how GM will fare through it's economic troubles, but if the Camaro is any indication, GM should come out of this a bigger, better car company.
