With Valentine's Day only a week away, can any exercise really make you sexier in time? Unlikely, but perhaps just getting started with these simple, effective exercises can put a little sexy in your walk.
The tips are courtesy of Valerie Orsoni, fitness coach and founder of LeBootCamp.com who makes the point that you can start to feel sexy fast just by initiating some healthier habits. So maybe what we all need is just this little push.
Orsoni says that feeling toned and good about yourself is super sexy. Here are some quick exercises you can do. Add them to your daily routine and voila – you’re bringin’ sexy back:
- Tooth brush squeeze – While you are brushing your teeth, do simple pelvic tilts for a tighter end. Orsoni recommends six minutes a day morning and evening, but no one brushes their teeth that long. My suggestion is to do them while waiting for dinner to come out of the microwave, or while you are chopping your fresh veggies for dinner.
- Thighs of steel – while in the shower waiting for your conditioner to work, put your back up against the wall, bend your legs and do the invisible chair move. Breathe in and out while the water runs over you.
- Booby-licious! Want perky breasts? Put your palms together and press firmly moving your arms up and then down starting at chest height. You can do this while watching tv.
- Walk and talk – most of us spend hours on the phone – at work, at home. So get up! Walk around while you talk. Want to stay seated? Move your legs. Fidget. The extra calories you burn will show!
The great weather we've been having in San Jose this February (with apologies to the rest of the country that is buried in snow) practically taunts people to get outside and walk around. Surprise your co-workers tomorrow by suggesting that at lunchtime you all go outside for a quick walk around the block (or around the office park). Add in the above little tricks and way before bikini season you'll be looking as sexy and you feel.
